야누스 아티스트 그룹은 Jay Jang (장환성), Morè (강지연), 이수민 — 세 사람으로 구성된 아티스트 그룹으로, 다양한 조형적 실험을 이어가는 창작 집단입니다.

야누스(Janus)는 두 얼굴을 가진 고대 로마의 문지기 신으로, 시작과 끝, 과거와 미래를 동시에 바라보는 능력을 상징합니다. 야누스 아티스트 그룹은 이러한 상징을 바탕으로, 현실과 비현실, 이성과 감성, 의식과 무의식, 일상과 비일상과 같은 이중적 개념들 사이의 조화를 이루고, 그 경계를 초월하는 통로가 되고자 합니다.

Janus Artist Group is a creative collective of three artists — Jay Jang (Jang Hwanseong), Morè (Kang Jiyeon), and Lee Soomin — united by a shared pursuit of diverse formal experimentation.

Janus is an ancient Roman deity of gateways, embodying the ability to look simultaneously toward beginnings and endings, past and future. Drawing from this symbolism, Janus Artist Group seeks to bridge dualities — reality and unreality, reason and emotion, consciousness and the subconscious, the everyday and the extraordinary — and to become a passage that transcends the boundaries between them.
